In light of the progressing war in the Ukraine, Robert-Bosch-Hospital (RBK) has received numerous requests for assistance. Together with the Robert Bosch Stiftung, RBK's management board has decided to donate its dispensable medical material on 08 March 2022, the aid delivery was picked up by a freight forwarder. A total of six pallets of medical equipment, supplies, material, and equipment, as well as ten infusion stands, left RBK and, thanks to the Johanniter's help, went straight to the crisis area, where people were urgently awaiting them. Included in the delivery: a mobile X-ray machine, respirators, emergency wheeled stretchers, and a variety of infusion materials. With immediate effect, the RBK will also be providing consultation hours in the Department of Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery, especially for Ukranian refugees – this means a quota of two hours per week.
