Freia De Bock is a professor of child health and health services research at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf and works as a paediatrician in developmental and social paediatrics. Her further qualifications include the Clinical Effectiveness Program at Harvard University and a Master's degree in Public Health from Erasmus University Rotterdam. She therefore has both clinical and multidisciplinary research expertise. Her areas of research interest include prevention and health promotion, complex intervention research, evidence-based public health and evidence translation.
Katharina Kappelhoff is Managing Director of the PORT health network in Willingen-Diemelsee e.V., a project funded by the Bosch Health Campus. She is responsible for all strategic and content-related issues at PORT and has accompanied the development process of the health network from the very beginning. Prior to this, she coordinated a municipal health project that focused on the development of local care strategies, the networking of local health stakeholders, health planning and innovative care concepts.
Valerie Kirchberger is a qualified medical doctor and Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at heartbeat medical, a start-up company in the field of healthcare technology. She is passionate about software and other products that have a positive impact on health and is actively involved in their further development and application. In addition to her role at heartbeat medical, Valerie Kirchberger is also a lecturer for the Master's program in Digital Health at the Apollon University of Applied Health Sciences. Valerie Kirchberger's strengths lie in team management and promoting innovation, prioritizing a corporate culture based on trust.
Marek Rydzewski is Chief Digital Officer at the insurance company Barmer. With extensive management experience in various positions, his career is characterized by a focus on digitalization, customer service, sales, insurance and care management. He currently represents Barmer as the first health insurance company to join the CDR initiative of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection.
Karin Strube is Founder and Managing Partner of the Strube Foundation, a non-profit foundation in the areas of health literacy and international understanding. Karin Strube has a diploma in physics and supports the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) in an honorary position as a member of the Patient Research Council. She is also a spokesperson for the Patient Advisory Board at the Robert Bosch Hospital in Stuttgart.
Dimitra Panteli is a Program Manager at the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, Lead on Innovationand Senior Health Systems Analyst. Her work focuses on evidence-based health policy and evidence-based health care in Europe, particularly in relation to quality of care, coverage and access. She leads the Innovation Department and supports the European Observatory's knowledge exchange program in the form of evidence briefings, webinars and political dialogues.
